Loan Applications

NEW BORROWERS:  The loan application for the 2010-11 academic year is now available. RETURNING BORROWERS:  You will be able to request funds (from your existing line of credit) for the 2010-11 academic year in late May. Check back soon!  Please select the appropriate link below to begin your application process.

 
New Borrower
Select this option if this is the first time you are borrowing a Graduate Loan from Credit Union Student Choice.
Returning Borrower
Select this option if you already have a Graduate Loan with Credit Union Student Choice and wish to draw funds from your existing line of credit.

Domestic Student: A student who is a U.S. citizen or U.S.
permanent resident. Necessary documentation may include one
of the following:

  • Valid Social Security card
  • Citizenship and Immigration Services Form I-551 (Alien Registration Card)

 
New Borrower
Select this option if this is the first time you are borrowing a Graduate Loan from Credit Union Student Choice.
Returning Borrower
Select this option if you already have a Graduate Loan with Credit Union Student Choice and wish to draw funds from your existing line of credit.

International Student: A student who is not a U.S. citizen or U.S. permanent resident, and requires a visa for entry to the United States. Necessary documentation may include one of the following:

  • F-1 visa and I-20, along with a valid passport with photo
  •  J-1 visa and form DS-2019, along with a valid passport with photo 

Important Info for Returning Borrowers when Requesting Additional Funds

If you are a returning borrower who already has an existing line of credit (loan documents have been signed and funds disbursed), you do NOT need to complete an entirely new application to request additional funds. Follow these simple instructions:

  • Click the appropriate application link (Domestic or International)
  • Log-in as a "Returning User"
  • Click “Draw Request” to proceed with your request for additional funds
  • On the next page, which shows your loan completion date, click “Select”
  • Confirm or edit your personal information as needed
  • After confirming/editing your personal information, enter your “Draw Request Amount” and select the proper “Academic Period” from the drop-down menu
  • Click “Submit” and your draw request will be added to the “Draw Request History” table and you will
    see a message stating that your request has been processed
